Remove scrollbar from Textarea in IE

Adding overflow:auto to a textarea, removes the scrollbar that IE automatically puts on all textareas regardless of content. The scrollbar comes back when the content within the textarea is larger than the area of the textarea, basically acting exactly like Firefox does.

So you just use .html { } to apply the overflow:auto to IE only, right?

Or, it doesn’t matter and you would just put it in as normal to all browsers?

Nope, it makes no difference. In my experience changing the overflow setting only affect IE and just makes it act like Firefox does. I’m not sure but I believe Safari and Opera both have scrollbars you just can’t get rid of, so changing the property for all, actually only changes anything for IE.
